WIAW: Goes Green

Wow! Where did the first two months of 2013 go!? Well no time to ponder that question! It’s time for some WIAW action from the last two weeks!

For the past month I have started participating in Meatless Mondays! Eating vegetarian is better for the environment (and some argue for your body too.) It has been easy sometimes and hard others but either way it’s worth it. I read an analogy about eating meat; Would you ever pull 16 bowls of pasta out of the fridge and then throw away 15 and eat just 1. </em. When you eat meat that is what it’s like because the consumer (meat) uses 90% of the energy for heat so if that energy could have fueled 10 people it now only feeds 1. Meat also produces high levels of methane gases. Meat is usually treated badly to unsure a cheap price for the average uncaring consumer.

I am not going to become vegetarian any time soon but it is a good option to be a little more “green” in march! Here is some vegetarian meals I’ve had!

There was alot more but I must have deleted the pictures! Here are some other eats as of lately! :

I bet nobody can guess what that last one is!

I am working on a race recap from last Saturday but have just been really busy with stuff like getting a girlfriend, yeah you read that right! I went to her house tonight for tacos and a movie!

Tomorrow is cancelled so hopefully I can’t get that recap done and wite more about the above! ;)

Happy (snowy) WIAW!
